Ballast Replacement
A ballast is a transformer that energizes fluorescent light bulbs. It is essentially a starter or igniter for the light bulb. They typically last about three years. If you have installed a new light bulb and it doesn’t light up, flickers or is dimmer than expected, then the ballast needs to be replaced. We perform diagnostics on the ballast and determine whether it should be replaced. Additionally, we analyze and repair the wires that connect the ballast to the power source.
